Become a Miss or Teen Delegate
Candidates in the Miss Montana Organization, at the state level, gain experience through participation in interviews, talent performances, public speaking, promoting individual social impact initiatives and social/digital media interaction. Cash and in-kind educational scholarships are available to all young women who advance to the state competition. As a state candidate you will have your own local title to represent for your year of service!
To become a Miss Montana delegate, you must enter with Miss America and interview for your local title.

Each delegate must also have a Community Service Initiative they will advocate during their year of service.

Eligibility
To be eligible to compete as an at-large, local, or state participant for either Miss Montana or Miss Montana’s Teen in June 2026, you must be a female, meet the age criteria as shown below, and be living full-time as a resident of your state, be employed full-time in person, or be enrolled full-time as a student at an accredited school/college.

Miss Montana 18-28: must be NO OLDER than 28 on September 30, 2026, and no younger than 18 on Sept 1, 2026.

Miss Montana's Teen 14-18: must be no YOUNGER than 14 by September 1 and no older than 18 on Sept 30, 2026.

Additional Requirements

Participate in fundraising for the Miss America Foundation.

Meet character criteria set forth by the Miss America Organization.

Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as set forth by the local and state competitions in which you compete.

Participate in scholarship and philanthropic fundraising for the Miss Montana Organization

How to register in the Miss America system and for state competition. These steps have to be done in order for the candidate to compete.

Step 2: State Competition Registration. The state office will contact you once we have received notification of entry from Miss America.
